Covid-19 Policy

At Palmerville Station Tourism Precinct, Cannibal Creek and Palmerville Station, keeping you is safe is our utmost priority. We continue to follow the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation and government restrictions and we have developed a policy to give you peace of mind when booking your visit with us. 

Travel Preparations

It is highly recommended that you have an up-to-date travel insurance policy with COVID-19 benefits that incudes cover for unforeseen COVID-19-related scenarios.

In the interests of other guests, it’s recommended that you complete a self-administered Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) 24 hours prior to arriving at our lodge. 

Should you test positive of if you are feeling unwell, please advise the At Palmerville Station Tourism Precinct, Cannibal Creek Camp Grounds reservations team immediately. 

We strongly recommend not travelling if you are feeling unwell.

It’s also helpful to bring a personal supply of Rapid Antigen Test (RATs) on your travels. 

Should you start feeling unwell whilst at the lodge, please self-administer a test.

Testing Positive whilst Travelling

If you test positive to COVID-19 during your time at the Cannibal Creek Camp Grounds, you will need to complete a mandatory 7 isolation period as per Australian Government Regulations.

The Palmerville Station Tourism Precinct, Cannibal Creek Camp Grounds team will endeavour to assist you in securing accommodation to isolate in and any other travel arrangements as needed or; you can liaise with your trade partner for further assistance.

Current regulations do not require travel companions who are not COVID-19 positive to isolate however we recommend companions continue to test and where possible stay in the accommodation and/or socially distance from other guests to minimise the risk of further exposure.

Your travel insurance policy will be needed to cover any trip cancellations, amendments and additional expenses incurred if diagnosed with COVID-19 whilst travelling and where there’s the need to self-isolate. 

The Palmerville Station Tourism Precinct,  Cannibal Creek Camp Ground team can provide invoices for accommodation, food & beverages to assist with the claim.

Please note Palmerville Station Tourism Precinct, Cannibal Creek Camp will not cover the cost of any other non-medical or medical costs associated with COVID-19, however the team can assist with accessing medical assistance should it be needed.
